Frequently Asked Questions

  • We can't confirm or deny. What we can say is that things have a way of appearing on the trails that weren't there when we left. Draw your own conclusions.

  • Most installations are completed in one visit. The Nestling typically takes a full day. The Wanderer and Enchanted may require two days depending on the site.

  • In our experience, the trail doesn't summon them so much as give them a reason to stay. Location matters. Chatham County, it turns out, has excellent fairy demographics.

  • We're based in Chatham County and primarily serve the surrounding Carolina Piedmont. Reach out and we'll let you know if we can get to you.

  • That's what the Vision Walk is for. We can work with all kinds of yards — some lush, some sparse. The trail finds its character from whatever the land offers, and we supplement thoughtfully when needed.

  • Trails hold up well through Carolina winters. Our seasonal refreshes are designed specifically to extend the longevity of the trail and our Holiday Magic refresh adds seasonal charm at the same time.

  • No. Absolutely not. We have no idea what you're talking about.

  • Absolutely. You can always start with The Nestling and extend their trail in a later season. That’s exactly how the original Owl & Rain trail was built. We keep records of every install so expansions feel seamless.

  • Leprechauns are the master builders of the fairy world — responsible for most of the structural work on fairy houses and hollow features. We don't advertise this, but every Owl & Rain installation is leprechaun-approved. We handle the trail. They handle the interiors.

  • The fairies are not employees of The Owl & Rain Trail Co. and are not covered under our general liability insurance.
